THANK YOU To the Residents of the Bay Leaf Fire District!!

The Bay Leaf Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to annouce the arrival of our new Air Truck! Designated as Air 12, this new unit has now replaced our previous air truck that was over 20 years old. Air 12 provides us with the ability to refill our individual firefighters’ breathing air tanks (e.g. SCBA's - Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), which is a critical part of our ability to fight many types of fires and operate in hazardous environments. In additon to this primary duty, it will provide on-scene lighting and Rehabilitation (rehab) support at the scenes of all major incidents to which Bay Leaf responds.

We would like to say THANK YOU to over 800 residents of our Fire District that contributed to our Fund Drive. These residents provided much needed support that was coupled with a grant we received from the Department of HomeLand Security.
